DON’T CALL IT WEAK

“It is the only force that animates and unites infinite intelligent worlds” wrote Giordano Bruno. The composition draws inspiration from the renowned astrophysicist Giuliana Conforto, who challenges the “spiritual” conception by asserting that everything is matter, including invisible particles that . . .

could form the basis of a dynamic and multidimensional “eternity.” Her perspective blends modern physics with ancient ideas, presenting a marvelous and profound view of the universe where the “weak force” is central in the context of life and the unity among fundamental forces.

It is the sole manifestation from which all others arise. . .

ABOUT ME

“A musician cannot move others unless he too is moved. He must of necessity feel all of the affects that he hopes to arouse in his audience, for the revealing of his own humour will stimulate a like humour in the listener” - C. P.E. Bach -

Serena Giannini is a singer, arranger, composer, and virtual orchestrator from Rimini, Italy. Her musical experience has been influenced by jazz, funk, and black music. Since her early days, studying the piano has allowed her to express herself through composition. Over the years, she has matured musically by playing and singing live with various bands. In 2007, she produced, composed, arranged, and performed her first album, “Beyond the Moon,” which was chosen as the soundtrack for Lancia’s promotional videos at the Venice Film Festival 2012. Afterward, she has been pursuing her passion for cinema, experimenting with soundtracks for documentaries and short films.

“Music is an art and art has its own rules. And one of them is that you must pay more attention to it than anything else in the world, if you are going to be true to yourself. And if you don’t do it and you are an artist it punishes you” – Nina Simone –

MANTRA

A mantra is an instrument of the mind, a powerful sound or vibration that you can utilize to enter a profound state of meditation. Similar to a seed planted with the intention of blossoming into a beautiful perennial, a mantra can be considered a seed for energizing an intention.

Lakshmi is one of the most benevolent female deities in Hindu tradition, associated with light, material and spiritual prosperity, as well as purity.

Almost always depicted seated on a golden lotus, symbolizing purity and rebirth. Her multiple arms hold various symbolic objects, such as golden coins and a horn of plenty, representing material wealth.

Mahamrityunjaya Mantra. Since birth, our actions are fundamentally driven by apprehension. This emotion can be categorized into three main aspects: the fear of death, the anxiety associated with losing things and people dear to us, and the dread of encountering failure in any form. All human endeavors aim to overcome such emotion. This Mantra, specifically, shields us from the profound fear of death.

So Hum (The Breath Mantra) is a Sanskrit phrase that literally translates to “I am That.” This concept entails identifying oneself with the universe or ultimate reality. As we meditate on this, we realize that we are all part of one infinite entity, and there is a deep connection that binds us all together.

The Mantra So Ham has been used for thousands of years to identify with the Universal Reality.

I took the liberty of setting the powerful Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra to music, synchronizing it with the images of the film ‘Little Buddha.’ Please listen with an open ear.

Little Buddha” is a film directed by Bernardo Bertolucci in 1993. The plot follows Lama Norbu, a Tibetan Buddhist monk, as he searches for the reincarnation of the “Little Buddha” among the children of Seattle. Simultaneously, the film narrates the life of Prince Siddhartha, destined to become the Buddha, in ancient India. Bertolucci skillfully intertwines the two stories, exploring spiritual themes and the path to enlightenment, delving into the profound meaning of life’s existential journey. The soundtrack by Ryuichi Sakamoto, known for his versatility and talent in musical composition, significantly contributes to the film’s atmosphere and emotional resonance.
